I think that far too many people just see the instant dollar signs when it comes to selling info products. I admit that I like the money I get from creating info products, but there is far more to it than that.

The first obvious thing is that you can build your list. There are much more to it than that. Many people don’t realize these things and a person should realize that it’s not just about the money.

One thing that I think is over-looked is that you get name recognition with products. The more products that you have floating around, the more name recognition that you get.

It’s important because people identify with you and your work. It will get you more business down the road.  People like buying from people that they can identify with. It’s more of a known commodity.

If you ever have a high end product. Always have a free product of your own to help promote it. There are many reasons why you should do this. You can call it the leaked chapters or whatever you want. You want to give people just a taste.

You can have the link to your sales page through out your free product. You can also have a branded version where you can tell people how to brand it with their affiliate link. This does two very important things.

It gives your affiliates more incentive to promote your product. They have a good way to promote your product. If they were going to go to clickbank, they probably won’t have that free report to brand. They can also build their list with the product.

Getting a joint venture is a huge thing. It lets you build that relationship and that is something that can last forever. You can work with them over and over again.

That is the reason that I tell people that if you want it bad enough. Give them an insanely high commission.  If they’re your affiliate one time, the chances that they are going to be your affiliate again are greatly increased. You have to be always thinking long-term.
