Tips to Leverage your Opt-In List

An opt-in list is a must for any online business, and if you already have a growing list that is great. The purpose of this article is to give you some advice on how you can further leverage your list of subscribers for increased profitability. Tips include:

1. Amongst all your useful and informative information, tell your prospects about a great product you have and how it will benefit them, and then link directly to the sales page- Nothing turns off a subscriber more than a blatant sales pitch, but if you can fit your sales pitches in amongst a bunch of useful information that is free to implement, then you will find it easier to encourage your prospects to click on your purchase links.

2. Regular contact means that those on your list who haven’t purchased a product in the past may purchase in the future once you have shown them a product of interest- This is most important. Be in regular contact with your list so they remember who you are. That way, when you have an item that is of interest, they are more likely to trust you.

3. Ask for feedback-
By asking your prospects what they want to see in your newsletter, not only are you engaging in research to ensure you are feeling a need, but you are helping to develop a sense of community and further attaching your prospects to you.

4. Sell other peoples products- If you are in the product development stage and don’t have anything of your own to sell to your clients, don’t forget the option of affiliate marketing. Make your competition your partners by promoting their products on a fee per sale basis. That way you are still earning whilst you are producing, but remember! you should never promote someone else’s product before actually reviewing it. Purchase it first to check the quality to make sure it’s up to your standards and something that will actually benefit your subscribers.

You’ve taken the time and effort to build an Opt-In list. Hopefully, these tips will enable you to leverage this your list for higher profits. But at the same time provide quality information or products, that’s useful and not something that will sit on their hard drive collecting digital dust.
