Which is Better? Free or Paid Autoresponders!
Even if you are beginning on your journey to internet marketing success, you will no doubt of heard about Opt-In Lists, Autoresponders and how they can hugely benefit your business. There are free autoresponder options and paid autoresponder options. The purpose of this article is to compare and contrast paid autoresponders with free autoresponders to see which would be more beneficial to your business.
A free autoresponder can be a good way to start building your list online but it is fraught with many drawbacks. It is much harder to tailor a free autoresponder to your audience, and they may subsidize the cost of their free service by sticking their own ads in your email which means that your own links may get lost. This doesn’t mean you should ignore a free autoresponder if you can’t afford a paid one because maintaining contact with your prospects is the most important thing you can do in business.
If you have the budget you should definitely go for a paid autoresponder option. A paid autoresponder gives you many more options for tailoring your message, and it purely consists of your own links so you won’t lose your prospects to ads placed by other people. A paid autoresponder should also give you plenty of forms and scripts that you can place on your websites to capture leads.
And to be honest, I think a paid autoresponder service is the best option. In the long run, you will see far better results from using a paid versus a free option. Take Aweber for example, they work with the major ISP to get your emails delivered to your list. And that means they have a very high email deliverability, and no free autoresponder is comparable!
If you want to be truly successful online, then you must do whatever you can to build an Opt-In list. As the saying goes, it is much easier to sell to an existing client than a new client. The same is true of internet marketing. It is much easier to sell to someone who has subscribed to your Opt-In list then it is to sell to a visitor who has come to yoru site the first time.
