You Need to Have Something to Build On
I see it all the time, people saying that they have had it! They are done with Online Marketing. They’ve spent all of this time, effort and money and they have nothing to show for it.
They have not made a nickel online. Giving up means that you have failed, but before that lies the main culprit. They hadn’t made any money online. They had lost all confidence because they thought that making money online was just a mirage.
The best advice that I can give anyone is to do what it takes to make money online, anything legal, of course. Even if you only make a couple of dollars. It sounds stupid, but it works.
The first time that I made money online it was less than $20. I got a cheque in the mail about a month later. I was even embarrassed to go to the bank and cash it.
You know what? I went to the bank and proudly cashed it. I wasn’t proudly thinking about what I was going to spend it on, but I made this money sitting on my behind without ever leaving my place, that’s what I was thinking about.
It wasn’t a mirage anymore. I knew that it could be done. I now had something to build on and I did start to make money online, a lot of money to finally quit my job.
If I wouldn’t of had that experience of making something online, I would of probably never gave making money online a second thought. I would have just continued with my job.
If you have to write an article for someone, put up a website for someone, design a logo etc. Just do it, you will now have something to build on and the added confidence that you CAN make money online.
The sad thing is that most people never make that first $1 online. They spend most of their time just reading about making money online and never try it for themselves.
They are what I call Online Marketing spectators. They never get in the game even though they are the coach. They run their own life and they decide if they truly want to get in the game. Are you a player or just content to be a spectator?
